Full Inspection Servicing & Interim Servicing

Why is keeping your vehicle serviced and well maintained so important? It can be extremely costly to you as the keeper to not keep your vehicle regularly serviced. Keeping your service schedule up-to-date maintains the efficiency and safety of your vehicle. This also makes sure that your fuel is used more efficiently and reduces the risk of a breaking down and facing potential costly repair bills.

At CCP Auto Services we work in line with all Manufacture Standards and Service Schedules. These Service Schedules can vary depending on your car’s mileage and age. Working within manufacturer specifications, we only use O.E. (original equipment) approved parts or manufacturer parts.

Changes to legislation in 2003 means it’s no longer compulsory for you to have your vehicle serviced by the main dealer and will no longer void your vehicle warranty.

We carry out 3 main service types at CCP Auto Services:

Holiday Check

A Holiday Check includes the following where applicable:

• Light operation check (headlights, side lights, fog lights, reverse lights, brake lights, indicators and hazards)
• Windscreen wipers (excluding wiper blade replacement)
• Visual check to brakes
• Tyres pressures and adjustments, visual check to tyre tread
• Windscreen washer fluid
• Brake fluid level check and clarity check
• Coolant level check and top-up*
• Engine oil check and top-up*

*all fluid top-ups are free under 1 litre. over 1 litre is chargeable.

Interim Service

• Light operation check (headlights, side lights, fog lights, reverse lights, brake lights, indicators and hazards)
• Windscreen wipers (excluding wiper blade replacement)
• Visual check to brakes
• Tyres pressures and adjustments, visual check to tyre tread
• Windscreen washer fluid
• Brake fluid level check and clarity check
• Coolant level check and top-up*
• Engine oil check and top-up*
• Replacement of engine oil and filter
• Power steering operation and fluid condition check
• Visually check fuel lines and brake pipes
• Carry out brake report
• Check exhaust and components
• Check steering, suspension, mounting and gaiters
• Carry out front brake report

*all fluid top-ups are free under 1 litre. over 1 litre is chargeable.
**wiper blades can be replaced but will incur an additional fee per blade

Full Inspection Service

• Replacement of engine oil and filter
• Removal of road wheels to inspect brakes
• Power steering operation and fluid condition check
• Visually check fuel lines and brake pipes
• Carry out brake report
• Check exhaust and components
• Check steering, suspension, mounting and gaiters
• Carry out full brake report
• New spark plugs for petrol vehicles
• New air filter, cabin filter and fuel filter if your vehicle has one
• Removal of road wheels to inspect brakes fully
• Top-up and inspect gearbox oil level

Service prices will vary due to the variation in cost of parts and oil needed for your specific vehicle. A full breakdown of the additional costs for parts and oils for your vehicle will be detailed in an Estimate on request.
