MOT Testing

UK law states every vehicle more than 3 year old is required to have a valid MOT. The Ministry of Transport test, commonly known as the MOT test, checks that your vehicle meets road safety and environmental standards.

It is against the law in the UK to use a vehicle without a valid MOT certificate. It carries serious penalties if you are caught using your vehicle without a valid MOT certificate and you can be fined up to £1000, your motor insurance will become void, and you can be issued with a penalty that carries 6-8 points on your driving licence.

We do not carry out the MOT test on site, but sub-contract all of our MOT tests to a nearby, reputable MOT testing station. The MOT test is carried out to ensure the following components each meet the road safety and environmental standards.

Minor adjustments are included if needed and are as follows:

  • Adjusting headlight aim and windscreen washers
  • Fit spare wheel if needed
  • Depending on bulbs type on the vehicle and bulb access, we will fit new bulbs
